What to Expect in a Session

Accommodations

My approach is always to work with the person in front of me. That means adjusting and adapting what I do based on your needs, comfort level, and capacities. The door is always open to communicate about accommodations and I make every effort to work with you while respecting my own limits.

Example accommodations:

  • During zoom sessions, you’re welcome to have your camera off.

  • If we try a certain modality and it doesn’t resonate for you or it doesn’t work with your sensory needs, we can take it off the table.

  • If listening to music or white noise during the session will help you focus, we can absolutely set that up.

  • You can stim at any time, even if we’re doing guided meditation work or anything similar.

  • If moving around during the session will benefit you, you can move around the room as needed, as long as I’m able to hear you when you do want to speak to me.

  • You’re welcome to have someone else in the room with you during the session if you want their support. I just ask that you let me know, and that we be in agreement that their role is only observational.

FAQ on Guides and List of Modalities

What types of Guides do you work with?

There are MANY types of Spirit Guides, but I primarily channel Bodhisattvas, non-denominational Angelic Beings, Deities, Ancestors, Animal Guides, or Nature Spirits. If there’s a particular Guide you’d like to work with or invite into your journey, we can definitely explore if it’s the right time to establish contact.

What other types of issues can my Guides help me with?

We can also work on physical, mental, emotional or spiritual issues.

Some of my specialty areas include:

  • Chronic illness and neurodivergence.

  • Trauma and/or narcissistic abuse recovery.

  • Lifestyle changes, large or small.

  • Long-term alignment with your purpose, path of healing, and the next 4-7 years of your spiritual development

What if I am not sure I believe or feel very disconnected spiritually right now?

Both of those are completely normal, and I dealt with both repeatedly on my own journey. We have organic phases of energetically expanding and then contracting. You don’t need to have the perfect spiritual mindset to do this work. If you would like to work together to start exploring, to open up, or to reconnect, we can absolutely explore that.

What other modalities do you use?

I’ve learned a lot of different modalities over the years, and the Guides often direct me to mix and match them in many different ways. That means every session is completely unique.

Also, the Guides will always respect your free will and consent, so if you are only comfortable with certain modalities, then all you have to do is let me know and we will absolutely tailor your session around that.

Some of the potential ways we might work together:

  • advice, information, or messages, especially if you have a particular concern or question you’d like guidance around

  • Brainspotting, a modality that works with the deep brain and encourages neuroplastic healing, organic emotional processing, and somatic release.

  • energy healing & crystal healing

  • cards – tarot or oracle (I’m not a tarot reader per se, but they will sometimes use the cards to deliver messages or illuminate themes or topics)

  • pendulum work

  • visualizations

  • imaginal work

  • exploring subconscious beliefs and emotional patterns, and how the emotional patterns have affected how you experience life

  • inner child or parts work

  • breathwork

  • somatic release

  • shadow work

  • archetype work

  • roleplaying

  • creating sigils

  • artwork

  • intergenerational trauma, collective wound, or past life healing

  • opposite hand journaling or automatic writing

  • for those who are on a spiritual path, information about your spiritual path or spiritual abilities

  • for those who have abilities, actively practicing your spiritual abilities – intuition exercises, etc.

  • providing the names of some your guides or information about what types of guides are on your team

  • working directly with the Guides themselves when they come through individually by name, which sometimes they do

  • they also sometimes provide recommendations for after the session, which of course are completely your choice if you’d like to try them or not

My Ethics

You decide what to reveal and when.

  • You never have to share more than you’re comfortable with.

  • You’re always welcome to say, “I’d rather not answer that question” to anything that I ask and I will let it go.

You decide what you want to do or implement.

  • You can always say no to anything I suggest or that your Guides suggest.

  • That applies during the session or recommendations for what do between sessions.

  • I may ask if it’s okay to explore some of the emotions around why you’d prefer not to do certain things, which would be for two reasons. 1) To understand the situation better, and adjust future suggestions accordingly. 2) To explore if there is useful insight in those emotional responses for you.

You never have to perform during our sessions.

  • If at any time you are feeling uncertain or uncomfortable with what’s happening, or if you’re having reactions come up, there is space for us to support you in whatever’s arising.

  • For example, sometimes when I’m a client, I really feel the need to please the practitioner. Often times it’s not even anything the practitioner is doing! That anxiety and relational dysregulation can get in the way of my ability to express myself freely.

  • So if you experience something coming up, either around the process or towards me as a practitioner, we can work with it. People pleasing, irritation, anger, annoyance, confusion, anxiety, feelings of protection or withdrawal — there’s space for any and all of it. It can be truly beneficial to explore those areas, actually, because working with activation that’s happening in the present moment can open a powerful gateway to deeper layers.

I will not pressure or coerce you into continuing to work with me.

  • I will never pressure you to continue working with me.

  • If it’s the first time we’re working together, towards the end of our time I may mention that I can help book another session if you are interested. I will only do so once.

  • If you’d like a script to make it clear you’re not interested, you can simply respond with, “no, that’s okay.” Alternately, if you know ahead of time you’d prefer for me not to mention it, simply let me know before the session begins and I won’t.

  • I will never trick you into continuing to work with me through fear-based tactics. We will not discover that the root of all your problems is an ancient family curses that only I can help you with, a classic technique that coercive practitioners use.
